Key Responsibilities
1. Infrastructure and Administration
- On-Premises & Cloud Management: Design, deploy, configure, and manage both on-premises infrastructure and cloud environments.
- Virtualization: Manage and maintain the virtualization platform, specifically expertise with VMware.
- Networking: Configure and maintain network devices, including routing, switching, and firewall policies, with specific experience in MikroTik and FortiGate.
- Operating Systems: Administer and maintain Windows and Linux server environments, including Active Directory, Group Policy, and other core Microsoft services.
- Database Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems, including MS SQL and Oracle.
- Cloud Services: Manage and optimize cloud resources and services, particularly within Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Security: Implement and monitor security best practices, access control, and data protection strategies across the entire infrastructure.
2. Employee Support and Operations
- Provide technical support and assistance to company employees when needed.
- Serve as an escalation point for complex infrastructure and connectivity issues.
- Create and maintain detailed system documentation and troubleshooting guides.
- Lead and execute infrastructure upgrades, migrations, and improvement projects
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years in system administration or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Server, VMware, MikroTik, FortiGate, MS SQL, Oracle, and AWS.
- Experience in security, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and lead technical projects.
