One of the administrative regions in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and the headquarters of its emirate is the city of Hail. It is located northwest of the Kingdom and the region occupies the seventh rank in terms of area, with an area of 120,000 km2, and the eighth in terms of population at the level of the Kingdom, where the region’s population is about 600,000 people. Administratively divided into 8 governorates in addition to the scope of the Emirate of Hail, the region of Hail is known for the two mountains, Aja and Salma.
